Small family run shop in piazza san Francesco. The ingredients were fresh and very tasty. We chose panini, but were offered to taste the pizza. The bread of the panini and crust of the pizza were both excellent, as were the fillings/toppings. Nice choice of local craft beer and wine.
One of the best place to eat healthy food with all fresh items prepared and cooked every day. The best fast food that serves hot in Matera.

We sat inside the restaurant because it was quieter, but it was a lovely atmosphere plain simple functional, but the food is great as well was the service.

This place is Great. The people who work here are very nice and kind. I've had a very delicious meal here. So far, this is the best food I've had in Italy. They played Albanian songs, which made this ambient feel more like home.

Everything was excellent! Located in the heart of Matera, we found it while strolling along the main street and were drawn in by the aroma. I gave the service a 4 only because they completely forgot about us after seating us outside, but their kindness in apologizing and rushing to serve us made us forget the inconvenience. The homemade pucce filled with quality ingredients and the bruschetta were more than satisfying, all at a fair price—it was absolutely worth it! See you next time!

A simple, charming Rosticceria in the historic center of beautiful Matera. We stopped by by chance around 1 pm and had lunch with a few slices of Rosticceria, excellent fries, and then some sandwiches filled with local pork sausage. Everything was delicious, and the quality was evident. The staff was very friendly, including the owner, who offered us a nice Borbone coffee. Overall, a beautiful day and good, simple, delicious food. Recommended.
